Notebooks for creative minds, toys for big boys – and girls. London-based design studio, Muk Design, will showcase its newest product line at the London Design Fair between 21-24 September in Old Truman Brewery, London.
Muk designs notebooks, toys, typefaces, prints, websites, books and accessories to empower and inspire creatives, while working with businesses across the art and cultural industries to create visual identities, bespoke stationery and limited edition product collections. Having worked for giants such as IBM, Tent London and Pera Museum, Muk is known for its playful aesthetics and quirky slogans, but most importantly, for its pioneering approach to design and creativity.
Celebrating its 5th birthday this year, Muk Design has recently moved headquarters from Istanbul to London and will be celebrating growth with a rebrand and launch of new product line, which will also coincide with London Design Fair. With products sold in top design stores in Istanbul, Muk continues to share their love for creativity, while reaching a wider audience in London.
Attending events such as the upcoming London Design Fair this September will be part of an ongoing outreach effort to bring the brand to the attention of an international market. “We are here on a big mission – to empower creatives with the perfect tools to realise their fullest potential. At their core, our products celebrate art, design and creativity. We are all about sharing stories and inspiring insights about our common creative struggles while having lots of fun,” says Elif, the Creative Director at Muk Design.
“Passion and creativity” is what drives Muk, while the easy-to use, versatile, and long-lasting products tell stories about design and art. Notebook no. 3 – CONTRAST, from the design principle series, that comes “perfect bound to hold your wildest ideas” with “plain silky pages on which your ink runs without boundaries” have the brilliant “an extremity, a conflict, a discomfort, a rule-breaker, a rebel, a narcissist, a sarcastic remark” tagline.
